Programs Designed for Growth

BushWise Kids offers immersive bushcraft programs designed to help children reconnect with nature while building confidence, resilience, and practical life skills. Through guided outdoor experiences, children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive environment.

Each program combines hands-on activities such as shelter building, fire-making, and navigation with team-based challenges that encourage cooperation, leadership, and problem-solving. Whether attending a day program or a multi-day camp, every child is given the opportunity to develop independence while having fun in the natural environment.

Our approach focuses not only on outdoor skills, but also on personal growth—helping children become more confident, capable, and connected to the world around them.

  • We maintain a low 1:6 mentor-to-child ratio to ensure every child receives individual attention, guidance, and support throughout the day. This allows our educators to truly connect with each participant, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and confident to engage.

  • Our educators are experienced, passionate, and trained in both outdoor education and child safety. All team members hold relevant certifications, including Working With Children checks and First Aid training, and are dedicated to creating a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment for every child.

  • Safety is at the core of everything we do. Activities are carefully designed to allow children to explore and take healthy risks within a structured and supervised setting. We teach children how to understand and manage risk safely, helping them build awareness, responsibility, and confidence in the outdoors.

  • Beyond bushcraft skills, our programs are designed to support each child’s personal development. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and hands-on challenges, children build confidence, resilience, leadership, and independence—skills that extend far beyond the bush.

  • We create opportunities for children to slow down, observe, and connect deeply with the natural environment. This fosters curiosity, respect for nature, and a sense of belonging in the world around them.

  • We welcome children of all backgrounds and abilities, creating a space where everyone feels included, valued, and encouraged to participate at their own pace.
